Introduction to the CASPR Instruction Site
Welcome to CASPR – the
Centralized Application Service for Podiatric Residencies, a service of the
American Association of College of Podiatric Medicine (AACPM) and administered
by its Council of Teaching Hospitals (COTH). CASPR serves as a
framework for the efficient selection of podiatric residents and is open to all
CPME approved residency programs and graduates of CPME approved colleges. CASPRweb.org is the
online application that allows programs, students, and colleges to submit and
receive information electronically.
This site explains how CASPR works and outlines the steps for using CASPRweb
throughout the cycle. CASPRweb is easy to use, but it is important that you read
and understand how the service works. Reading this manual may help you avoid
errors that could affect your applicant pool and the Match.
The Instruction Booklet is a living document and will be updated during the
cycle as necessary.
